My Original American folk art prints portray many historical American events, places, and attractions. Using vibrant colors, magical scenes and patriotism really brings out the American scenes in my folk art prints. “Celebration, Joy, whimsy, and humor,” are words described by viewers about my paintings. I’m exhilarated when my art elicits a positive response from people. When you look at my paintings not only do you see a picture, my prints tell a story.
Many of my limited edition American folk art prints are commissioned and personal projects that have included American monuments and landmarks: the U.S. Capitol, the White House, the Jefferson Memorial, the Governor’s Palace in Williamsburg, Gunston Hall, Mount Vernon, Independence Hall and many others. “Parades and celebrations are fun subjects!” and are captured in “The Alexandria Waterfront Festival” I take pleasure in traveling around the world grasping history at first hand, it is what inspires me the most as an American folk artist. |
